1. You must create an account to play. Once your account is created, you should receive an email confirmation within 24-48 hours regarding having access to the Picks page. It is up to you to remember your account information.
2. Making Picks - Click on 'Picks' page to login and make your picks. Pick all NFL games. There will college games listed every week. Make sure to pay attention to how many college picks are needed, as this could change from week to week. Example: If the site says to pick four college games, but five are picked, the first four picks will be counted. Click 'None' on the games you don't pick. All college bowl games will be picked. The only Thursday NFL games that will be picked are the Thanksgiving Day games.
IMPORTANT - When submitting picks, make sure to click on Submit, then click on Confirm. The next page will look blank, but scroll up and then you will type in the 4 numbers to actually submit your picks. We tried eliminating this step, but the form we use won't let us. After putting the four numbers in you should receive a 'Thank you for your submission.'
3. Picks are usually due by 11:00am (Eastern Standard Time) on Saturday. However, watch the site for specific information on when picks are due as this may change from week to week. If no picks are received, you will receive 0 wins that week. Make sure to get your picks in on time! Also - if you wish to change a pick, or picks, you can either email the site with the change you want, or re-submit new picks before the deadline. You can submit as many times as you'd like, but the most recent submission before the deadline will be the picks that are counted.
4. Some games will include the point-spread. The number of spread games will vary from week to week.
5. A win is earned by correctly picking the winner of a game, or, in a spread game, whether or not the team you picked covered the spread.
6. There will be a weekly payout (to be announced) for Best Record of the Week for Weeks 1-18. In case of tie, those involved will "pickoff" the next week until someone has the better record. The back-up system may be used as the tie-breaker for the last week of the season.
7. Most total wins at the end of the season will determine the Keg Bowl Champion. Week 18 will be the final week of the season.
8. Please report all website issues, questions, or suggestions to admin@kegbowl.co and we will try to respond within 24-48 hours.
9. Website Maintenance - It still costs $300 every year to maintain the website. $200 is paid to GoDaddy for the domain name and hosting, as well as website maintenance; and $100 is paid to Freedback for the 'Picks' form.
10. SURVIVOR RULES - pick one NFL team per week to win (no spread). If that team wins, you advance to the next week, however, you may not pick that team again. If that team loses or ties, you are eliminated. If you fail to make a pick, you are also eliminated. Also, if you want to pick a team playing on Thursday night, just email the site before kickoff of that game. Last person without a loss wins!
10.1 SURVIVOR TIE-BREAKER - In case of a tie, the margin of victory of the team you pick each week will be tallied, and will be used as a tie-breaker to determine a winner. If still tied, the number of total Keg Bowl wins at that time will then be used to determine winner.
11. Payouts - to be determined.
